I booked an appointment with Ming and it was one of the best experiences I had in a salon! He was incredibly friendly and listened to a lot of my concerns. My hair had been bleached and dyed so many times before so it was a lot of colors when I went into the salon. He listened to exactly to my thoughts and I will definitely be returning. (He also gave me one of the best bangs I ever had š My previous experiences in other salons always give me bangs that arenāt super suitable for me but this time was so nice)
Went there twice for coloring my hair. First time (first pic) for brown. Second time (second & third pics) for redš. Both times were done by Ming (second pic), an awesome hair dresser whoās experienced, funny, caring and thoughtful.
But I have to point out, make sure you brush your hair thoroughly before visiting any salon, itāll not only make hairdresserās jobs easier, it could also cause less damage to your hair.
(FYI: I didnāt bleach my hair for both times!)
Book with Ming! Him and his assistant are wonderful. I have gone about 6 times now and have had a great experience every time. The first time I went, I was extremely anxious, but I informed the receptionist and everyone was extremely understanding and tried their best to help me relax. The salon itself is quite expensive, but Ming will give me different options of what I can do with my hair if I want to save money . He is THOROUGH! you can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and is an expert at hair cutting (and color). I highly recommend going if youāre looking for someone to trust your hair with šā¤ļø
I started coming to MG in 2018 and havenāt been to another hair salon since. All of their stylists are incredibly talented. Iāve recommended MG to so many friends and theyāve all had wonderful experiences. I recently got my hair done by Eric. Heās very detailed and is great at making sure he understands exactly what you want. I love my new hair and have received so many compliments (:
i recently started coming here the beginning of this year and have never let anyone else touch my hair now besides eric. he understands what i want and what looks good on me but also gives me an honest opinion on what he can do for me. for example, i wanted to go full light blonde but he wanted to preserve the integrity and health of my hair and gave me his professional opinion. i appreciate his honesty and his work because my hair is now a nice balayage (with some strands that will lighten into a similar blonde to what i wanted) without having to sacrifice itās health. heās just given me a nice experience with coloring my hair and i intend to keep on coming here. every time someone asks me where i get my hair done i give a response along the lines of āeric at mg. i never let anyone else touch my hair.ā/āeric is the bestā. the photos i attached are from all the times i visited and ofc had eric doš«¶š»
Ming and his team were amazing! They gave me the most perfect balayage. This was my first time getting my hair professionally bleached and dyed and Iām so glad I got it done here. 10/10 recommend to anyone! Will only come to this salon for hair dying in the future
Ming is very professional and effective. Best haircut based on my natural curly hair without straightening it first so I got the chance to do the balayage. I have to come after work and got well serviced until late but much faster than my expectation and exactly how I want I my hair to be styled. Definitely will come back again!
Ming and team gave me the exact hair color I wanted!!š«¶š¼ my hair has been bleached & dyed black before but Ming took extra care to test my strands and designed a color that catered to the condition of my hair. My hair was also patchy from all the previous coloring but Ming made the red come out so smooth and even. Canāt wait to get more coloring done w Ming!
